Harbour Island is beautiful year round. It's a perfect escape from colder climates in the Winter months from November to March. Then April and May start to bring even warmer temperatures and great scuba diving and fishing weather! Perfect for a destination wedding year round!

Here are our weather tips to enjoy The Whale year round!!

Too windy at the beach: 

• Head for the harbour, go for a kayak or SUP, and explore the island from the water. For the adventure enthusiasts, grab our boogie boards and go play in waves at the beach or bring down your Kite Surfing Gear! 
   

Too windy at the harbour: 

• Head for the beach!  Wind from the West makes for perfect calm seas at the beach, relax in the ocean, go for a walk, take a stroll on a horse, or set up camp by one of the beachside shacks or restaurants and enjoy some food and drink! A goombay smash from TEE JAY's beach shack is a must!  
   

Too much wind everywhere!

• Enjoy our backyard oasis, our heated pool is great for colder spells and lush gardens keep the area so protected  that its hard to believe how windy it is elsewhere, head for our poolside chases and get into a book! 
   

Rainy weather got you down? 

• Take a stroll to the library and enjoy the history of Harbour Island and the Bahamas, get a relaxing massage, go for lunch at one of the incredible restaurants on the island, check out some of the great clothing shops!
